Are you a Play Therapist looking to master your skills?

As part of Play Therapy Australia’s ongoing commitment to continuous learning and excellence in the practice of play therapy, our Play Therapy Advanced Workshop was established. Suitable for those who have completed training in play therapy or wanting a refresher on your current skill set, this is the training for you!

This workshop is delivered over two days online and is offered to anyone who has completed a minimum of 150 hours of clinical training and would like to deepen their Child Centred Play Therapy skills and knowledge.

Our two day workshop is designed for those practicing in the field and will explore the following topics:

Reflective practice on your journey as a play therapist so far;
Examine the concept of themes in children’s play therapy;
Further explore the skill of making meaning of children’s play in clinical practice;
Group supervision session time to provide opportunities for case discussions;
Case note writing and reporting skill development; and
Skill practice development opportunities

New topics covered: –

Worried about NDIS changes – discussion on how to fortify your business and diversify your income streams.
Unpacking Psychodynamic Psychotherapy: The role of the unconscious in understanding the child

Prerequisite for training workshop

Please note to enrol in this Play Therapy Advanced Workshop participants must have completed 150 hours of child-centred play therapy and be able to send through certificate confirming hours.

Cancellation policy

Please note as places for our workshops are strictly limited, your enrolment can only be secured once payment has been received- either via credit card, bank transfer, PayPal or AfterPay or payment plan.

To be eligible for a refund for fees already paid you must notify us at least 14 days from the commencement of the scheduled workshop. Please note that any refunds may take up to 14 days from date of refund request. A 10% administration fee will be charged for all cancellations.
