When you buy documents from Play Therapy Training Australia you are contracting with Play Therapy Training Australia Ltd ACN 652 291 211 an Australian company located at Unit 7, 29 Mount Cotton Road, Capalaba QLD 4157 (‘PTTA’, ‘Us’, ‘We’).
Through its websites, PTTA provides online access for subscribers to a variety of publications, content and resources, including training materials, plans, commentaries, precedents, forms, reference materials, articles, bulletins, news and updates posts, products and product information (‘PTTA Services’).
The websites and PTTA Services are provided subject to these Terms of Service and the provisions of all applicable laws relating to the exploitation and protection of intellectual property, in relation to which PTTA assert and reserve all rights.

PTTA Services is a product designed for play therapists and those working within the play therapy industry.
PTTA Services are not consumer products, nor consumer service, nor goods and services of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household user consumption.
PTTA Services are intended to assist play therapists in delivering their professional services to their clients, but the facts of each case will be different and reliance upon PTTA Services may not always be appropriate.
Subscribers must exercise their own professional skill and judgment when choosing and using the PTTA Services to assist with providing their professional services. Subscribers must satisfy themselves that PTTA Services are appropriate for the particular case or circumstances of intended use. PTTA does not warrant that PTTA Services are free of defects, nor fit for any specific purpose. PTTA accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in PTTA Services, nor for any loss or damage allegedly resulting from or connected with the use of any PTTA Services.
Subscribers use PTTA Services strictly at their own risk and with the explicit acknowledgement that they are not purchasing consumer goods and services and are not receiving any legal or other professional advice.
PTTA recommends that any subscribers who are not registered play therapists seek legal or other applicable professional advice about any particular case or circumstances for which they intend to use PTTA Services.
Technology
Use of PTTA Services may, from time to time, require a compatible device, internet access and certain software, any or all of which may require updates or upgrades from time to time. Because use of PTTA Services involves hardware, software, and internet access, a subscriber’s ability to use PTTA Services may be affected by the performance of these factors. High speed Internet access is strongly recommended. Subscribers acknowledge and agree that such system requirements are entirely their own responsibility and may change from time to time.
Statements by Authors
We do not represent or warrant the accuracy or correctness of statements made by authors. Comments made by authors are not intended to be and should not be regarded as legal advice. Their views, opinions and comments do not take into account all material facts or circumstances relevant to you or your client and may not provide a complete or comprehensive response or cover every situation.
PTTA is intended to be used by registered play therapists, who those undertaking training to become registered play therapists, and professionals who have adequate skills and experience to make their own assessment as to their needs and the adequacy of the material on this website.
Scope of Limitations of Use
Subscribers may use PTTA Services to:
- inform themselves about the material covered in PTTA Services, including for the purposes of personal research or study;
- comply with their professional development requirements;
- obtain assistance with giving professional advice to their clients, including potential clients;
- prepare documents, advices, papers, submissions, communications to and for clients and potential clients, tenders, reports, and any other documents they wish to create for their own personal or commercial purposes.
Subscribers may not use PTTA Services to:
- compete with PTTA, which includes offering any PTTA precedents for re-sale;
- infringe any PTTA copyright;
- break any law;
- provide direct, unsupervised access to PTTA Services for the subscriber’s own clients.
In the event of any unauthorised use of PTTA Services by a subscriber, PTTA may take any applicable action at law, including seeking urgent injunctive or declaratory relief, seeking an account of profits, or claiming damages that PTTA considers appropriate, or may otherwise reserve any such rights. Reservation of any such rights will not constitute their waiver.
Agreement to Pay
The subscriber agrees to pay for any subscriptions to PTTA Services and that PTTA may charge the payment card for those services and for any additional amounts arising including any taxes, recovery costs and late fees, as applicable. All fees will be billed to the payment card provided during the purchase process.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
All subscriptions to PTTA Services are subject to GST.
Limitations of Liability
PTTA disclaims all liability for any omissions, errors or inaccuracy in any material published on our websites, including material published by independent authors including FAQ and feedback sections. By using the PTTA Service, you accept that PTTA, its officers, employees, agents and related bodies corporate will not be liable to you in any way for any loss, damage, cost or expenses you may suffer or incur through the use of PTTA Services or any information, opinions or comments published or made by authors on our websites.
