CCPT Professional Foundations (Module One)

CCPT Professional Foundations is your first step into Child-Centred Play Therapy – a one-day live online workshop designed for anyone who works with children and wants to explore play therapy as a therapeutic approach.

Whether you’re a counsellor, teacher, social worker, psychologist or allied health professional – or simply curious about whether CCPT is the right direction for your career – this workshop gives you a solid grounding in the theory, principles and core skills of child-centred play therapy.

No prior play therapy experience is required. All learning, practice and assessment is completed within the single day.

This workshop is also the required first step before enrolling in the
Advanced Certificate in Child-Centred Play Therapy Studies – Australia’s most comprehensive CCPT qualification pathway.

What Happens Next?

CCPT Professional Foundations is the gateway to the Advanced Certificate in Child-Centred Play Therapy Studies – a five-module program delivering 224 hours of training and the CCPT-AU Credential on completion, recognised by PTPA, ACA and PACFA.

Once you’ve completed Module One, you can enrol in the next available Advanced Certificate intake. The next available program begins August 2026.

Not ready to commit to the full certificate yet? That’s completely fine.
Many practitioners attend Module One as a standalone professional
development day before deciding on their next steps. There’s no obligation to continue.

Payment details

Cancellation policy

Please note as places are strictly limited, your enrolment can only be secured once payment has been received.

To be eligible for a refund for fees already paid you must notify us at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the scheduled module. Please note that any refunds may take up to 10 days from date of refund request. A 10% administration fee will be charged for all cancellations.

If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, you are able to defer to a future date. Failure to then attend the rescheduled date will result in an additional fee to enrol further.
