Post Qualification Training at Kylie Ellison Therapy & Training is designed for qualified Child-Centred Play Therapy practitioners who are ready to deepen their clinical practice, expand their scope, and connect with a community of like-minded professionals across Australia.
These advanced modules go beyond technique. They develop the reflective, relational and ethical dimensions of your work – helping you become not just a competent practitioner, but a confident and intentional one.
All modules are delivered live online via Zoom, making them accessible to practitioners across Australia regardless of location.
Filial Facilitator Module
Our Filial Facilitator Module is designed for Practitioners interested in adding this skill set to their practice. This three-day workshop will aim to upskill practicing Child Centred Play Therapy practitioners by extending their knowledge of CCPT to educating and supporting parents and carers in the principles of CCPT to enhance parent/ carer and child attachment through play.
The module includes:
- Key concepts and components of delivering Filial Programs
- Overview, demonstration and practice of each of the 10-sessions of the filial program
- Extensions of Filial- including considerations for other client populations

Beyond the Playroom Module
Our Beyond the Playroom Module expands practitioners’ understanding of the deeper layers of Child-Centred Play Therapy by exploring play themes, the therapist’s internal world, and the role of clear, ethical documentation.
This module strengthens therapeutic insight, fosters reflective depth, and supports the development of thoughtful, accountable clinical practice.
The module includes:
- The personhood of the therapist
- Documentation in Play Therapy
- Extending the knowledge of themes
