Filial Play Therapy Training
The Filial Facilitator Module is an advanced three-day training workshop for qualified Child-Centred Play Therapy practitioners who want to extend their clinical work into the family system.
Filial Therapy bridges the therapeutic relationship between child and therapist by bringing parents and carers into the process – teaching them to conduct child-centred play sessions at home. The result is strengthened attachment, improved parent-child relationships, and therapeutic gains that extend well beyond the playroom.
This module is grounded in the Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) model developed by Bratton and Landreth – the most extensively researched filial therapy model in the world, with over 50 years of evidence supporting its effectiveness.
Delivered live online over three days by Kylie Ellison, the workshop combines theory, demonstration and interactive role play to give you the knowledge and practical skills to run the full 10-session filial program with your own clients.
